CONVERSATION STARTERS

It can be difficult to think of what to say when meeting someone new. Remember to start by PRAYING for the guests by name before, during and after interacting with them (Ephesians 6:18). Ask GOOD QUESTIONS when appropriate. LISTEN (James 1:19) Repeat back what you heard them say (either summarize or repeat exactly what you heard). Show EMPATHY. Be VULNERABLE  (Ephesians 5:15).

We all struggle occasionally in getting started with someone new. SignupGenius has come up the a helpful list that will make this daunting task a little bit easier.  CLICK THE LINK BELOW…

PRAYER

The Cold Weather Care Ministry is grounded in our glad submission to the Lord Jesus Christ. All of our efforts are to bring honor and glory to His name. We would be remiss if we did not bring this ministry before His throne in prayer. One of our volunteers has compiled a list of scriptures to pray over our volunteers and guests this season. Please join us in wrapping this ministry in prayer.
